Magnetic Power Generation
With the dangers of environmental pollution and global warming caused by the
burning of fossil fuels like coal for the world’s power consumption, there is an increasing need for
alternative non-detrimental sources of power. Solar
and wind energy are good sources of alternative power. These days it is possible to construct your own solar and wind
generator but it does require some work. And these sources
of power are by nature weather dependent. There is yet
another source of alternative power that is not weather dependent, and that is magnetic
energy.
Building a magnetic power generator is just as possible as building your own solar or wind
generator. In fact, it is less labor-intensive. Also, magnetic power generation provides the same benefits as solar
and wind power – clean, non-detrimental to the environment, does not emit any toxic substances or gasses,
renewable, perpetual and best of all, free (after the initial expenses of setting it up). All the materials you need to build your own magnetic power generator
are available from the hardware store. Alternatively, you
could buy them from places like eBay.

A magnetic power generator uses
the natural attraction and repulsion between the poles of 2 magnets to create motion which generates
electricity. As long as the magnets continue to attract and
repel each other, the motion remains constant. Therefore, the
magnetic power generator is a self-running machine. The only
way to stop it is to remove the magnets.
The electricity generated is DC and should be stored in a
deep-cycle battery for later use. A deep-cycle battery is able
to discharge small amounts of electricity over a prolonged period to power home appliances that use constant
electricity (like your refrigerator or washing machine). This
is unlike a shallow-cycle battery like your car battery that produces a large amount of electricity in a short
period of time to start the car engine.
Almost all your electrical appliances at home are AC powered, so you will need an inverter to
convert the DC current in your battery into AC. You will
also need a charge controller that ensures that your fully charged battery does not get
overcharged. When the battery’s power has reached a
predetermined level, the charge controller will stop further discharge until the battery is
recharged. This will ensure the maximum lifespan of your
battery because batteries that are overcharged or over-discharged will not last long.
Many people have saved substantial amounts of money on
their electricity bills by setting up their own magnetic power generator. The good thing is that you can control the amount of electricity your
generator produces by using different magnets. The stronger
the magnets the more electricity your generator produces.
Needless to say, the benefits of having a magnetic power generator are
many. You can purchase some of the many guides available
that teach you how to set one up and be off and running generating your own electricity.
